Hanging With Friends...

Hey, so I'm Michael. I'm in the final semester of my BFA in illustration right now and tend to approach my work in two different ways. Creating a nostalgic narrative or using humor in the work. I think a good illustration should create a story in your mind as soon as you see it. The work above was for an assignment to illustrate the phrase "hanging with friends". I wanted a rustic sketchbook feel to it and hopefully present a different take on what the phrase could mean, so ya.
